Pokemon Platinum? O_o

CoroCoro revealed some leaks about the new Pokemon handheld game, Pokemon Platinum. Now, this is completely rumor, as even CoroCoro said they are not sure about it.
Some new features in the game are possibly:
-Set for release in September, Giratina on the box.
-Volkner no longer gym leader of Sunnyshore City.
-Underground has Wi-fi.
-Several new Pokemon "forms" are in the game; Giratina's origin form, Regigigas' sky form, Shaymin's (possibly) ice form.
-Hero has a new costume.

CoroCoro Magazine has revealed Pokémon Platinum, the third game in the 4th generation series of Pokémon games.  It shows off the new “Origin” form of Giratina used in the upcoming movie, a revamped battle interface, better clothes for the male lead (thank God). Some other reported features include:
September release (in Japan?), Giratina on the box
Volkner is no longer the Sunyshore City gym leader
The Underground is now Wi-Fi enabled
Battle Island revealed; same concept as Battle Frontier in Emerald
No new Pokémon (obviously), but some new forms including Giratina’s Origin Form, Regigigas’ Sky Form, as well as Shaymin’s Another Form. The former two gain the “Levitate” ability, while Shaymin’s new form is part Ice-type.

This isn’t one of our jokes, but it’s not been 100% confirmed by Nintendo either. For now, we’ll stick it in the same category as Kid Icarus for the Wii: it’s coming for sure, we’re just waiting on the Nintendo announcement.

I knew Giratina would be on the box!  At first, I didn't agree with the name Platinum, but now, I'm fine with it.  It fits with Giratina's name and color.

^ Yea, I read somewhere else about a Spring 2009 Release, So I think that'll be it.

It seems pretty legit but it's still up to speculation for now but in anycase this newest version is going to be interesting to see. I might get it if it does come out but I'll wait on more info before I make that desision.

Apperntly the Reason we havent had any more info is Because "Nintendo Plan to release news about all the new games at E3". So, there's a Chance for a Japan September Release now...i guess.

Now that we know Pokemon Platinum is on the way, we’re going to need a ton of juicy bonuses if Nintendo expects us to buy another version and catch ‘em all… again. Luckily, the July issue of CoroCoro suggests that Platinum is shaping up to be a worthy entry into the series. New details include:

    * Confirmation on Shaymin’s Sky Forme, its Grass/Flying type, its height of 0.4m, and its weight of 5.4kg. Ken Sugimori’s artwork for the new variation is shown.
    * Those picking up Movie Regigigas from the 11th movie, Giratina and the Sky’s Bouquet: Shaymin in Japan can transfer it to Platinum and then catch Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in-game.
    * Two new, unknown human characters will be introduced into the game’s story.
    * A new area on the map called “Torn World” will be added.
    * Lucas and Dawn get new clothes. Barry doesn’t.
